Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 29 March 2026

We at Lemanica Press are working to make our site www.lemanicapress.ch accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved through the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies such as screen readers and keyboard navigation.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have adapted this site in accordance with WCAG 2.1 guidelines, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA.

This site's contents have been adapted to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard use. As part of this effort, we have also:

  • Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and address potential accessibility issues

  • Set the primary language of the site

  • Structured content with clear and consistent heading hierarchies

  • Defined logical content order across pages

  • Added alternative text (alt text) to images where applicable

  • Implemented color combinations that meet required contrast standards

  • Minimized the use of motion and animations where possible

  • Ensured that key site elements are accessible via keyboard navigation

Declaration of partial compliance due to third-party content

The accessibility of certain pages on the site may depend on content that does not belong to Lemanica Press, such as external platforms and embedded services (e.g., third-party book retailers or embedded media).

We therefore declare partial compliance with accessibility standards for content that is controlled by third parties.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization

As Lemanica Press operates primarily as a digital publishing entity and does not provide in-person services at its listed address, no specific physical accessibility arrangements are currently applicable.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

If you encounter an accessibility issue on the site, or if you require further assistance, we encourage you to contact us. We welcome feedback and will make reasonable efforts to improve accessibility.
